This one-day session focuses on introducing “Lean Thinking” as a methodology for identifying and eliminating non-value-added or wasteful elements in an organization. The California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program (the “Program”) provides micro grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to eligible small manufacturers impacted by COVID-19. The Program is being administered by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) at the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz). Lendistry, a CDFI and CDE small business lender, has been designated by the state to act as the intermediary for the Program to disburse the grant funds. And, while application for Round 1 has closed, Round 2 is right around the corner.
