CalPlant 1 brings an exciting new industry to Glenn County – the first medium density fiberboard made from rice straw. On August 15 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm, CalPlant 1 will be having a hiring Fair at Willows City Hall. They are currently hiring:

  • production/control room operators
  • plant maintenance and electricians
  • shipping/forklift operators
  • straw receiving/retrieval operators
  • other positions
